Living in the sticks growing up riding a bike was a transport necessity but also always a passion, that is until I was old enough to drive. It wasn’t until riding London to Paris for charity in 2011 that the love for all things biking was reignited. Encouraging my son Jake into cycling and going on ever increasing distance rides with him, he decided he wanted to try racing. Took him to his first cross race and liked the look of it. So entered the next round on his bike and even though I fell off 4 times I was hooked.

Love the competitiveness and now ride cross during the winter, TT’s crits and road during the summer with the odd mtb race thrown in. Still love riding with my son Jake but generally find him dropping me by the first hill.
